My previous app and my textbooks focused on the English curriculums taught in Victoria, Australia, but I am delighted to introduce my new app - Senior English Tips – which is designed for a wider audience.

Why an app? Over the years, I have come to realise the advantages of having a 'virtual' tutor with you at all times. It means easy access to knowledge and skills related to the English language and the study of the subject English at senior levels.

I decided on an app because it is a simple, affordable, one-off purchase that is always on your mobile device, even if you are not connected to the Internet. And – even better – there are no annoying ads!

Owning Senior English Tips is like having a study guide in your pocket.

The resources on the app consist of good, solid, common-sense material, gleaned from my knowledge of 'Aussie' English, my understanding of traditional English grammar, and the many years I have worked as an English teacher and VCE English Exam assessor.

Student users of the Senior English Tips app will find plenty of practical advice and 'insider' tips for success in senior English studies and exams. However, the app has a wider application too. International students can use it. Teachers can use it. Anyone who wants to hone their knowledge of how the English language works can use it.
